Litigation and Dispute Resolution
Specialising in swift and effective legal solutions
My aim is to achieve a speedy, stress-free resolution for clients while maximising the potential outcome. While I have practiced across a wide area, most of my current litigation practice focuses on two main areas.

The first involves handling claims related to disputed estates, representing either the executors or disappointed relatives. A significant portion of this work involves family provision claims, where emotions often run high, requiring a calming approach. Executors may find themselves in disputes for various other reasons as well, such as allegations of unfulfilled promises by the deceased, practical challenges in executing the testator's wishes, validity issues with informal wills, allegations of improper executor conduct, undue influence by beneficiaries, and questions regarding the testator's capacity.

The other main area involves debt recovery from principal debtors and guarantors. It's remarkable how often debts are settled upon receipt of a lawyer’s letter of demand, clearly outlining the amount owed and the consequences of non-payment. When this approach fails, I initiate legal proceedings in the appropriate court and pursue litigation to judgment, followed by appropriate enforcement actions. This may include winding up or bankruptcy proceedings, the appointment of controllers, and/or the enforcement of securities.
