A large and very satisfying part of my practice is drafting simple or comprehensive wills for my clients as the circumstances require, contesting wills on behalf of clients who have been ‘left out’, and defending wills where claims have been made. When making or updating their wills my clients are encouraged to also consider the appointment of attorneys and guardians. Applying for probate/letters of administration and administering estates on behalf of the executor/s is also a large part of my practice. Where an independent executor is needed I can also fill that role, either alone or together with a family member.
